Berlin KraftWorks - more than just a name
Residing in Kitchener Ontario, our name pays homage to the rich manufacturing heritage that founded the area. Known as Berlin Ontario until 1916, many of the finest products in the world were produced right here, with pride. Those products proudly bore the mark "Made in Berlin" which was known throughout North America to be a sign of quality and craftsmanship, and served as a mark of distinction from inferior products. While Berlin's name has changed, the heritage lives on today in multiple industries that have their roots right here.
We believe the founding values of Berlin's heritage - craftsmanship, quality, pride in one's work and integrity - are as relevant today as they were 100 years ago, and we keep them at the core of all that we do. We continue that heritage by making modern manufacturing understandable, and accessible, to both the Start-Up and Mature Manufacturing companies in Waterloo Region and beyond.
